this solar panel is a talison 400 W bifacial solar panel and I recently purchased this for only $150 well I actually bought three of them for $450 so $150 a piece in this video I want to show you a way to make sure that you're not getting ripped off when you purchase large format solar panels for example take a look at these panels B RV has a similar 400 wat solar panel they're selling for $600 yikes I hope you don't think you're getting a spanking good deal when you purchased two ecoflow 400 W solar panels either at $500 each Renegy is selling their new 450 W bif facial panels for around $360 each don't be fooled this is still fairly expensive these high prices are everywhere online and they're much cheaper prices available now to be clear these are brand new unused unmounted solar panels and I bet you guys are wondering where can you pick up solar panels This cheap well I'll tell you guys you can pick them up locally you don't even have to pay shipping let's jump into the secret so here I am on Facebook Marketplace and I want to check a few different cities around the country to see what's currently available so right now I'm currently searching in San Diego California with a radius of 40 Mi and I have just 400 watt solar panel in the search criteria and this is what came up so this first option here well these are four Canadian Solar 395 watt solar panels and these are brand new they selling four of them for $750 so that's right around $185 each so remember you don't have to pay sales tax or shipping on this so this is a good deal now you obviously want to focus on the brand new stuff people are going to be selling a lot of Ed stuff um these ones here so it looks like a little bit older technology but these are 12 Hana Q cells these are 315 watt solar panels and they're only selling these for $120 each so let's go ahead and move on to a different city we'll go ahead and look at my neck of the woods here in Salt Lake and I just searched for the same thing 400 WT solar panels so the first one that pops up is this this talison 400 w b facial solar panel option now these are the same panels that I purchased this is a different seller so I actually got these for a little bit cheaper but it looks like they have 11 of these they're selling it for $2,000 so right around $180 each now unfortunately they're only selling this in one lot so maybe in a week or two they'll get a little bit desperate and want to sell them individually so you just may have to message them and see what options are available um let's take a look at this looks like they have a bunch here so this appears to be some sort of RV installer which maybe they have a really good deal with a manufacturer so these are xn shine 405 watt solar panels they're selling these for $200 each so that's actually pretty decent as well um what's this one so Trina 325 watt solar panels $97 each looks like these are just left over from some sort of install not a bad price for 325 watt solar panels and it looks like they also have some other solar panels available too so pretty interesting guys so even on the first line you have so many different options now what about in the San Antonio Texas area so same search 400 wat solar panel look at this $140 so these are brand new 400 wat hell solar panels buy a few panels or a couple of pallets best deal around no kidding that is a really good price for 41 solar panels and they have quite a few available so it looks like if you live near Dripping Springs Texas you got a really good deal pretty close to you uh let's see this one oh talison so these are talison 400 watt bif facial solar panels we've seen these before $180 each in Cedar Creek Texas and these are brand new unmounted so looks like they actually have the spec sheet for those so that's nice so couple options right available at the top in San Antonio so let's go ahead and move a little bit more north and east so we'll look in the Columbus Ohio area 400 W panel search uh look at this 5 and 45 watt solar panels so these are beasts $150 each and they have five of them looks like these are bifacial solar panels so that's really cool so if you live near Jasper Michigan yeah look at that option um oo these are the talison bif facial 400 W panels yeah those look nice lots of them available and they are $175 each that's good let's find one more um about this one so brand new 370 W solar panels so they have 25e warranty and these are from zenstein solar so we saw a little bit of those earlier and lots of those available so even Ohio has a bunch available okay so the last city that I wanted to look at was down in the south in Orlando Florida same 400 watt solar panel search so ooh got some solar Evers so I actually have these panels installed on my carport these are 410 watt solar panels I get really good power from them looks like they have quite a few available so if you want to look for that panel $225 so a little bit more expensive than the other panels we've seen but they're high quality these ones here are pretty affordable $140 so these are 330 W trino monocrystal and the solar panel so a little bit smaller but still affordable see if there's anything else o some bu facial options what does this say so these are Hyperion 400 watt bifacial solar panels so each panel is $152 uh but there's a catch you need to purchase a full pallet of 36 panels to get that price so you could still reach out to them to see if you could get a you know decent deal on individual panels but I just wanted to make sure you guys know that on Facebook Marketplace you can pick these up for a really good price locally now if you end up finding a listing that you're interested in on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist I have a few tips for you so let me go ahead and get started with these the first one is I'd only recommend picking up new solar panels usually people are selling used solar panels for a reason it's going to look enticing but for the best performance stick with new solar panels number two if you don't see anything you like on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist wait a week or two and you'll see a bunch of new listings just check in every now and then and you'll see them especially as we get closer to Summer number three these panels are heavy if you go to purchase them I recommend bringing somebody with you to help you load and unload them so you don't damage the solar panels number four I'd recommend bringing some test equipment so you can connect up to the solar panels and see what voltage you have so a voltmeter you can even bring a power station so you can connect that up to each one and make sure you're getting equal power from each panel and the final tip don't forget to fight for the best price now I'm not recommending to lowball anybody but usually if you're purchasing these locally you can fight for a slightly better price and save some additional money now what if you don't have Facebook Marketplace options or even Craigslist options around you there are still ways to find cheaper solar panels for example one of the best sites that I've found is signature solar and I'll just walk through some of the deals so they have these Canadian Solar 400 wat solar panels for $156 now just be aware you do have to purchase at least 10 of these but what's really nice right now is they have a solar Valentine sale going on right now which is free shipping on all orders parcel and Freight so that is huge guys you get free shipping on these solar panels so it's going to come out to be around $156 each for the 10 solar panels and then you could perhaps sell off the extras right here we have some Hyperion 400 wat bifacial solar panels these are priced at $136 then we also have these aptose 400 W bifacial solar panels these are priced at $216 each of these require a minimum purchase of 10 units but like I said earlier they have this free shipping sale going on until the end of February I'll have a link down in the video description now if you don't want to purchase from signature solar there's another website called Santan solar and they also offer solar panels at a good price now they sell a ton of used solar panels but if you go through the filter and filter out just the new options you can see they have some options available so this is the new ZN shine 410 watt solar panel at $176 each with a minimum purchase of 10 units and also they have these new qel 340 W solar panels at 120 $9 each and you have to purchase 10 of those I'll have the link for sandan solar down in the video description as well if you're interested so there you go multiple ways to purchase these large format solar panels on the cheap so hopefully you guys have one of these options available to you if you like the
