hello everybody I'm Alex Bovie from proviso clicks again just don't make this video today but before we start I want you to look at the weather it is a cloudy day there is a wind as well sorry about the quality also on this very spot and also surrounding the time and it's October now these things will be important on this video as you'll find out towards the end of the video and what we have just done is invested in renewable technology to help cut our carbon footprint very good now in this spot here where I am standing I was got all these big big buildings around us and there was a man start of this year taking photos and looking at roof now I turned up to wick so I'm just over there and I saw this man and I was like all right yeah all right what are you doing his name is Tom I'm just looking at roof well I could roof spot it I mean I know this train and airplane the wagons and stuff are toxic yeah basically awful sad take it to another level that's awful oil no no no no no no I'm just looking at roof looking at potential I can't believe that none of these industrial units around here and I'm not investing and looking into renewables like this only swim you Tom I have been looking sorry about the way I've been looking into you no soul with three or four years and our phone gasifier probably the energy supply I'm trying to do some research on the internet can't find it a great deal so I'm totally not energy supplier oh yeah you know passing the book what why it turns out now from what I've learnt is that these big energy companies don't want us to out renewables they don't want us out solar panels or you know these I don't know hydrogen whatever it is coming out with and all the rest of it because they're not making any money off it so I'll speaking to Thomas they're off you know I have been looking at it so we looked across all the business park where we are no no no one's got any all these big buildings ideal absolutely nothing so sexy jump look I've got you know I am looking at the mechanic on you know give us a quote or you know see what see what I need now I'm spending around a thousand pound a month on electric so I am solar for me is ideal now there are some offices around here where they probably only spending one or two three pounds to the three people in an office nine to five he wears out we were sort of working 24/7 so we've got day and night to consider so what we have done is we've had a 42 solar panel system at 11:00 putting some things that will kill nearly 12 watt kill 12 kilowatt system now these 42 pounds like three four six foot tall as me probably wide known too so yeah so eyeball might do is I might drop Tom's mobile number in the description probably put his email numbers gone and he's probably moaned at me so that's it remove it but you know I think he's you know so he wasn't really coming to me he was trying to go to try to just measure up to these other companies to try you know if to like they've got massive massive amount of roof space that's what he was trying to do and obviously try and gauge why nobody has got solar panels so I said to him you know so we we did a price as well the price for the system in total was fifteen thousand pounds business you claimed the VAT back I takes it down to 12 and also you get you 90 percent off in corporation tax you know for SME businesses investing 200,000 pounds blah blah blah anyway actually accountant about that one obviously if he can do domestic domestic is only five percent back so for a 12 panel system as of 2019 the probably doing for 45 grams obviously don't get about back for the awesome maybe brand which area of the country we've only just had this installed as of about August so we now on October I do won't do another video we're sort compared me bills so I'm spending about a thousand quid emotes this this bill should drop down my usage of electric should get lower and it was out making my own electric you know I'm saving the planet at the same time or trying to obviously work will be one of us is going take an abundance of the companies to try and achieve this in my own words this is what I've got to hopefully get another video out so we're just inside this is the solace imperative and there's a meeting obviously goes offices goes into the distribution board at the moment regenerating about six pillar ones of electric apparent magnitude to start the video I said it was a cloudy day and it's October so this system very good you get their data stick and look at him taking out route Wi-Fi GPS GPRS or Ethernet I'm pulled in on ethnic do really you know I've got worried about your routine changing the route to from time to time or drops out it just got an Ethernet connection and this links to what I'm going to show you in a minute because you get an app or you can get on your computer and this way it's like security make sure that's online and it's okay so this is your way through it be solar into electricity and then just coasting means bored and you've got a meter on there which obviously meters the electric coming in to the building okay so as you can see here this is the 42 panel system on the roof and yeah I mean it took about half a day to put all this on and I used to think it was builders who did all this partial you know the electricians which makes sense and yeah scaffolding went up easy peasy because Thomas was he I'll sort all this out we've being a commercial building and for the size of the system we had to go for planning but Tom saw he died all that out as well and it was really a doddle really um just half wait for the weather and that time take its course so it can't complain with that so yeah this is like a drone shot of the roof I mean really what we worked out is this system should you know be plenty for for what we need during the day obviously then at night so what we've got here is a picture of the app which I use and on that you see the name unit that's what we just called it just as unique and if you go back to the start the video where I said about the cloudy day so we're currently producing about 13% of the eleven point three four kilowatt hours and you can see on there we have you know there's a bit about pounds now obviously that's probably the first bit that everybody looked at looking at the pounds this is just a benchmark price so this is just as a guys it's not exactly it's just sort of what you're saving against the electric company so when I was telling the earlier about how electric companies don't like this this is because they're not going to be making the money from me as a customer or yourself and this is sort of I see this app as a form of security so I could chat the app daily weekly it gives me a full report on what's been going on has it been a sunny day close you know it's got the weather on there as you can tell and so at the moment it gives you up-to-date information on how the system is performing now some people don't have this but imagine if your system has gone down and you just weren't looking at it and they're monks and monks went by and you were thinking hey what's going on and you know now I haven't had any problems with this whatsoever but I do see that it is worth having it either on a computer or an app because like say it's just that reassurance security for your system I mean if you're investing money into this system you won't make sure it's working right I mean I know they come over 20 20 year guarantee if something does go wrong there's not many reports of things going wrong where solar bought if it did you need to know so you get all these stats and statistics I hope this video has been as you know informative just give me a bit of an insight I would like to do I take more videos on this and how time progresses we've only had this system in for about a month or so so you know I'll do some more videos as we go on especially about the bills let's see you can get them bills down and just how much are we saving and you know other businesses out there you know they could be utilizing that roof space and you know help you know you are saving the planet because they're not being cold they're producing our own electric from our own building now there are some problems of going out so in the we have a Phase two on the cards not set in stone just yet but we are waiting for the technology to you know enhance so by 2022 what we were looking to do is utilize over half of the roof space with the same size system but what would have is a battery system so for nightshift that would run on the battery but it's all down to technology and the prize because these batteries are obviously like six or seven grand just there's something that's going to power us for a few hours because we are using the same amount of electric as a month as maybe a cul-de-sac with 15 houses on it that's just what we're using don't forget the other businesses out there but you're probably using considerably loads more so I did a video as well on packaging recyclable renewable packaging so we are on the ball and you know open to create a better future and hopefully all the businesses out there will do the same so look out for more videos don't forget out drop toms details in the description and to be honest it'll just give you an open honest opinion about renewable technology because he obviously does like charging ports for cars and things like that so he does do he's in the know of how these things work so don't call them or whoever you use and awesome about
