what's up everybody DIY Doug here solar wholesale video today we're gonna be unveiling what is in a solar wholesale kit this kit is about to go out the door but what we're gonna do is walk you through what makes our kits different than everyone else on the internet let's go over what comes in a kit obviously you have your solar panels I hope your kit comes with solar panels you have some sort of inverter weather string inverter optimized or micro inverter and the racking I'm going to tell you what our kits come with and why we're different so what comes in a solar wholesale kit first off we have all black 30 year warranty American made pins next inverters every kit comes with micro inverters 25 year warranty we like micro inverters because they operate independently of each other but they're also modular so it's very easy to add to your system size later the third biggest component is the racking we use a black anodized aluminum rail with this channel down the middle to make it a lot easier for your wire management this racking is for an asphalt shingle roof we have several types of racking just know that when you're looking online at other kits most of them are coming with the asphalt shingle flashings so that's it that's what you're gonna find in most DIY kits now let me tell you how ours is different AC disconnect turns the system on and off with this knife blade combiner box this is where the breakers for your solar is gonna go this is a roof junction box typically running the Trump cable into this through your attic so it makes a nice clean install with no conduit on the roof so this is a combiner box typically going to go under the eve of your roof where you're combining the panels and the wires from the roof to the wires in the main service panel zip ties flex conduit and connections all the connections and conduit you need wire nuts and screws half-inch socket for the racking breakers customize for your kit we also provide all the wire you're going to need this is a copper wire and you're gonna need this for grounding this is 12 to romex this will go through your attic it will connect to the panels on the roof and through the Attic thwn wire this is going to connect your Rome axe to your solar combiner box thicker thwn wire this is usually going to connect in between your AC disconnect your solar combiner box and your main service balance CEM link to give you that extra protection that your roof needs electrical tape the crayons or crayons a hole saw drill bits so we've made it this far in the video we've gone over everything that comes in a kit we've gone over everything that comes in a solar wholesale kit the biggest reason you're going DIY is because you want to save money and because you can do it yourself the anxiety comes down to the extra components which is what we showed you a lot of our customers are very comfortable with getting on the roof and drilling holes but then when it comes to the electrical especially where the right tools is where they start backtracking a little bit so what we want to do at solar wholesale is include all of that in the kit for you so that you don't have any anxiety about what you're going to need it's solar in a box it shows up to your driveway you're able to put it on the roof the same day without going to the store thanks for watching we're going to be updating content almost weekly so if you have questions if you have comments please leave them and we will create videos on them DIY dug out of here [Music] ...
