so before you hook it up take note of how this thing is made it's actually two things it comes with a fan screw down the back so it's the fan and on the front the heating element so it'll have the two sets of wires these are for the heating element which I'll put to the hundred watt panel and these are the thinner wires that just go to the fan so we'll use a smaller panel for that if you want you can just put them all to the same panel but just for clarity to kind of detail it out I'm using two panels check those temps out up to 360 - it's a hundred watt twelve older so you can put it straight to a solar panel it's got a little fan attached on the back I don't just cranks out the heat now let's put the fan back on let's see what we got so again the fan hookup right there to the five water and the heater part to the hundred water all right we're up to 101 that's after a couple minutes here's a shot of it just after like five minutes now after 1:16 546 eight Celsius that's after maybe 10 minutes you can feel that from two and three feet away so perfect for a desk fan don't be fooled by its small size this thing really puts out a lot of heat it's pushing close to 400 now there's 373 73 I have a feeling I might go to 4 even 500 if I just leave the fan off but I don't want to burn it out so cranking away jumps around quite a bit but that is super super hot that is so hot it is unbelievable how hot that is this thing works unbelievably good I'm super happy with us he was only ten bucks on Amazon you might notice that sometimes sounds like hurricane-force winds that's just because I'm using a lavalier mic and the mic on right on the front of the camera when it's really loud I'm using the mic on the front of the camera so it's like having your ear right up to it but this is what it sounds like normally just about like this to your ear so we got the solar panel connection and the input wires those three are for the heater and the thin one in the back is for the fan that's just like a 1 or 2 watt fan the heater takes the 98 99 Watts ok here's how I'm gonna be isn't it right at the desk down to the solar panel wire and out the door here's a quick tensile test all right so just to wrap it up let's take some final ten measurements so we started this about 7:00 a.m. it's just after 10:00 now so three hours staying pretty consistent should be 110 or so Fahrenheit yep still right about there 43 Celsius give or take so that's working great well not saying I gotta mention don't use two panels for this but bull sets - one panel the reason for that is that the heating element and the fan believe it or not communicate with each other I had read that but didn't believe it but now that I'm using one panel I can tell the temps are totally consistent now and the fan will go up and down depending on the temperature of the heating element in other words it'll run a little slower if the element is a little bit cooler and faster if it's hotter so you get generally the same output temps all the time with the two panels it was like if you recall anywhere from the 90s up to like 150 and even 170 I think when it was running so this is perfect and by the way 110 that's like low furnace temps so that's perfect for being like two two and a half feet away it feels just right ...
